Here’s our upcoming schedule of sewing classes and workshops:
Beginner Sewing Fundamentals Course for Adults $620 (10 weeks. Materials are provided).
Tuesdays 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Session 1: Jan 14 — Mar 18th (10 weeks)
Session 2: Apr 1 — June 10. Closed on April 15 (10 weeks)
Course Overview:
This 10-week beginner sewing course is designed for adults who want to learn the fundamentals of sewing from scratch. Students will gain hands-on experience using a sewing machine, understanding basic sewing techniques, and completing beginner-friendly projects. No prior experience is required.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify and use basic sewing tools and materials
- Operate a sewing machine with confidence
- Understand fabric types and how to choose materials for projects
- Sew basic seams, hems, and finishes
- Read and follow simple sewing patterns
- Complete multiple beginner sewing projects independently
